My name is Nate Isaac, and I’m a Pittsburgh based artist, specializing in the traditional mediums of graphite, ink, charcoal and watercolor.
My goal as an artist is to capture the world I inhabit as well as the ones imagined.
About
Over the past eight years, I’ve been growing my abilities and knowledge of what my goal as an artist is, and that is to tell a story visually, perhaps the oldest form of art. My stylistic inspiration are the artists who saw and documented God’s creation on their journeys across the American frontier.
Projects
All work, from modelling to compositon, to finish is all done by myself.
Experiments
I am one to make things the old way, or I use practices that may seem primitave or outdated.
My most recent endeavors are that of creating and photographing scenes with Lego Minifigures cataloging eras of American exploration.
